Fire damaged a Vincennes residence late Friday evening. Firefighters were called out to the area of 7th & Shelby streets. No injuries were reported. Flames damaged one side of the house and also a fence. Nearby homes also were slightly damaged. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Investigation into the cause continues.
