The Oblong -Palestine-Hutsonville Co-op football team has a new head coach familiar to people here in Lawrence County. Former Bridgeport native Mark Ambrose will head the football program and teach PE. He is a 1989 graduate of Red Hill High School and a 1993 graduate of Milliken University where he played football. Ambrose is currently a teacher and football and track coach at Georgetown-Ridge Farm in Georgetown, Illinois.
