Fire destroyed a Vincennes house Monday night. The fire in the 400 block of Harrison Street was called in around 9:45 pm eastern. Crews arrived and found a good amount of smoke coming from the front of the home. Firefighters stayed on scene through the rest of the evening. The house was considered a total loss. The name of the home’s owner has not yet been released. The fire is also under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office.
