The Lawrenceville Lady Indians lost in the quarterfinals of the Little Illini Conference girls basketball tournament at Casey Saturday. They were beaten by Paris 66-27. The Lady Indians started slowly and fell behind 19-9 after one quarter, 39-21 at the half, and 58-25 after three quarters enroute to the loss. Sarah Isaf poured in 24 points to lead the 15-5 Lady Tigers to the win. No one in double digits for the 9-12 Lady Indians as Jayley Akers led in scoring with 8 points. The loss snapped a two game winning streak for the Lady Indians who will now play Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the consolation bracket semi-finals .
