A single-vehicle accident occurred in rural Lawrence County Wednesday night. Zach Western of Lawrenceville was driving north on Sawyer Road when he became distracted behind the wheel. Western then swerved to miss a dog in the roadway and ran into a set of residential mailboxes. Western was not hurt.
