The Vincennes City Council met Wednesday night for the final time in 2017. The City Council voted unanimously to repeal the Merit Commission ordinance for the Fire Department. Vincennes City firefighters turned down a plan to form a Vincennes Fire Department Merit Commission at this time in a vote of 20 to 18.
