An Edwards County man was arrested in Wayne County. Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 28 year old Nathan W. Ellison at a residence in Mt. Erie. Deputies responded to the residence following a tip that Ellison was there and found him hiding in a bedroom closet. Ellison was wanted on felony warrants out of Jefferson and Richland Counties for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender and also a nationwide felony warrant out of Edwards County for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Ellison was taken to the Wayne County Jail awaiting extradition.
