Harriet Marie (King) Cook, age 94, was born on February 17, 1933 and passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Harriet was a resident of Sanford, Florida at the time of passing and formerly lived in Lawrence County.
She married John Norman Cook on November 4, 1955. In 1964 John, Harriet and their four children moved from Bridgeport, Illinois to Orlando, Florida, eventually settling in Winter Park, Florida.
Harriet leaves behind her, son, Dennis Cook, daughter, Jane Michael, son, Stephen Cook, and daughter, Cathy Cook, along with three grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Kristina Cook, and Jessica Cook and six great-grandchildren.
Harriet was a devoted homemaker to her family and will be missed by many.
A private burial in Lawrenceville City Cemetery will take place. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
