The Lawrenceville wrestling Indians were fifth in the team standings of the annual Lawrence County tournament on Saturday at Lawrenceville High School. Mt. Carmel won the tournament with 197 points, Olney was second with 157, Robinson third with 147 and Harrisburg was fourth with 143 followed by the Tribe with 123 points. The Indians had three individual champions–Zeth Stallings at 126lbs, Jesse Cancino at 170lbs, and Nolan Tewell at 285lbs. The most Valuable Wrestler award was given to Aria Hart of Anna-Jonesboro by vote of the tournament coaches. The Indians will wrestle again Saturday at the Murphysboro Quads.
