Sarah Pauline (Ritchie) Laughlin, age 95 of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at AperionCare-Bridgeport. She was born March 10, 1922 in Petty Township to Samuel H. Ritchie and his wife Jessie Stover Ritchie.
She married Paul Devere Laughlin, and he preceded her in death.
Sarah had attended the First Christian Church of Bridgeport, was a member of the Bridgeport Moose, and an avid bowler. She was a homemaker to her family and years ago had worked for Suttle in Lawrenceville.
Surviving family includes: one son- Michael D. Laughlin of Vincennes: one grandson- Robert “Tank” McKee and wife Candi of Vincennes: four great-grandchildren- Dylan Thomas, Kenny Thomas, Macyn McKee, and Abby Szombathy: and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held for Sarah Pauline Laughlin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 11:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m.
