Leonard A. “Bruiser” Bilskie, Jr.

Leonard A. “Bruiser” Bilskie, Jr., 60, of Vincennes, passed away at 12:37 pm Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born November 17, 1956 in Vincennes to Leonard A. and Marilyn L. (Carrie) Bilskie Sr.

Leonard was a truck driver for 41 years driving for Carie Brothers Trucking and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Long) Bilskie, whom he married in 1993; his father, Leonard A. Bilskie of Vincennes; his children, Misty (Jim) Eblin of Sarasota, FL., Angela (Michael) Callahan of Flat Rock, Heidi (Charles) Crump of Monroe City, Roxanne (Keith) Wetzel of Vincennes, Larry (Lori) Goodwin of Vincennes, Bert Goodwin of Vincennes; two brothers, Jim (Tammy) Bilskie of Oaktown, Larry W. Bilskie of Oaktown; along with 23 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Bilskie; a brother, Jeff Bilskie; a son, Terry Goodwin; and a granddaughter, Caitlyn Bilskie Crump.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 am Wednesday November 8, 2017 with Rev. David Fleck officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
