Donald G. Lee

Donald G. Lee, 85, passed away at 2:30 am on October 16, 2017 at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Donald was born on February 7, 1932 in Lawrenceville the son of Harley and Cleo (Doss) Lee. He married Marcelyn (Vincent) Benson on July 13, 1961.

Donald served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a bookkeeper for Ralph Rogers Construction and later as a bookkeeper for the Knox County Surveyor’s office and was also a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife Marcelyn Lee of Vincennes; daughter’s, Cherie Kotter of Vincennes, Janet Wilbur and her husband Jim of Vincennes; son’s Leonard Benson of Lawrenceville, Don Lee and his wife Sherry of Vincennes; grandchildren, Jeff Kotter and his wife Jennifer, Bart Kotter and his wife Kim, Melissa Craven, James Wilbur, Alan Wilbur and his wife Jodi, Doug Benson and his wife Jennifer, Levi, Joey, Josh and Grant Lee; and great grandchildren, Colton, Alex, Caden, and Ava Kotter, Dalton and Ethan Craven, and Aven Wilbur.

Graveside services for Donald will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit with Donald’s family from 1:30 pm until the hour of the graveside service of 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
