-The Bi-State Authority met yesterday evening. Mid American Air Center manager Kurt Schwartz gave an update on the upcoming Transportation Improvement Proposals meeting in Springfield. The Bi-State Authority approved an upgraded phone system by Ring-Beyond.
– The Bridgeport City Council met last night. The City Council discussed applying for a $500,000 grant for infrastructure improvements for the city’s lagoon. The council also received word that the S & P Rating for the city’s bonds increased from Triple B+ to A-.
