Fire broke out in a field at Mahrenholz Farms. Two units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District were called out Sunday evening to the fire location on Lake Lawrence Boulevard and Greenview Drive east of Lawrenceville. Less than a half acre of corn stalks was involved. There were no injuries reported. No appreciable damage was done. A cause for the fire has not yet been determined.
