Some felt it but most didn’t.  The US Geological Service says a  a 3.8 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of southern Illinois early this morning. The epicenter was seven miles northeast of Albion, Illinois.   It struck about 4:47 Central Time this morning.  That’s the same area or fault line where a 5.2 earthquake hit 9 years ago.  There were some strong aftershocks after that quake.  There’ve been no reports of injury or damage for today’s event.
