One person was injured in a vehicle fire in rural Lawrence County yesterday. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District were called to the fire location on Route 33 at Francis Drive. One person was cutting on a tank in the bed of a 1983 Chevy truck owned by William Miley when it caught on fire. One person suffered burns and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. The fire caused an estimated $500 worth of damage.
