Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that five people were sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 30 year-old Michael Dunfee of Sumner was sentenced to ten years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of aggravated battery. 50 year-old Terry Wysong of Lawrenceville was sentenced to three years on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. 25 year-old Courtney Malone of Lawrenceville was sentenced to two years on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. 26 year-old Ethan Roller of Lawrenceville was sentenced to serve three years concurrently on charges of possession of methamphetamine and attempting to flee or elude police. 57 year-old Patricia Montgomery of Lawrenceville was sentenced to one year and four months on a charge of retail theft.
