Ella Mae Cotterell, age 89 of Emison, IN, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Oak Village in Oaktown, IN. She was born to Herman and Dorothy (Bowman) Crutchfield on September 3, 1927 in Bridgeport, IL.
She loved to tap dance at nursing homes and the USO Show. Ella also enjoyed reading poems at her church. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Emison, IN.
Surviving family includes: her three daughters- Marsha Clark and her husband Harold of Emison, Linda Hatton and her husband Walter of Emison, and Sandra O’Niones and her husband Michael of Arnold, MO: one brother- Charles Crutchfield of Arnold, MO: three grandchildren- Candy Reeves, Amber Keasling, Kevin O’Niones: and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Herman and Dorothy Crutchfield: her husband Milford “Sam” Cotterell: and her sister- Donna Harden.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m.EST/10:00 a.m. CST at the Bridgeport City Cemetery on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Visitation will be held at Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 10:00 a.m. EST/9:00 a.m. CST until service time.
