– An single-vehicle accident occurred in Lawrence County early yesterday morning. Jimmy Hensley of Lawrenceville was driving on Illinois Route 1 near County Road 1500 North when the accident occurred. Hensley and a passenger were not injured.
– Lawrenceville Police arrested a Bruceville woman on drug possession charges yesterday. Police charged 34 year-old Kari Brochin with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Brochin was also charged with violating an order of protection. Brochin was taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
