Guily pleas in separate battery and meth cases

 Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael M. Strange announced that 34 year-old Justin Perry of Lawrenceville pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic battery. In exchange for his plea, Perry was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Perry is also required to pay court costs.

  Strange also announced that 26 year-old Alesia Rogers of Vincennes pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. In exchange for her plea, Rogers was sentenced to 30 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections.  Rogers is also required to pay a drug assessment fee as well as court costs.
