One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident in eastern Lawrence County yesterday evening. Vehicles driven by Pedro Mejia of Rantoul, Illinois and Craig Viek of Vincennes collided on County Road 1570 East near County Road 1200 North. Viek was injured and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Mejia and a passenger were not hurt. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
