An 11 year old boy from Gibson County died yesterday while operating a John Deer side-by-side ATV in a field in Francisco. The child from Haubstaudt was pronounced dead at Gibson General Hospital after the ATV rolled over during a turn ejecting the youngster and pinning him to the ground. That happened at 3:13 local time yesterday. DNR officials say a helmet or restraining harness were NOT in use.
