An Olney man was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Lawrence County last night. James Pennington was driving east on U.S. 50 near County Road 900 East when an unknown oncoming vehicle struck his vehicle. The unknown vehicle then left the scene. Pennington was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Lawrence County authorities continue to investigate the accident.
