Authorities have released the name of the person killed in a single-vehicle crash in Crawford County Wednesday evening. The crash occurred on County Road 900 North five miles east of County Road 725 East. Illinois State Police report that the 16 year-old Bree “Lexi” Davis of Robinson was driving at a high rate of speed when she hit a patch of gravel and lost control. The car struck a ditch, flipped and then hit a tree. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Five other passengers, all from Robinson and ranging in age from 13 to 17, were taken to Crawford Memorial Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
