Good Samaritan embarked on a new venture with Toyota Boshoku America, Inc. by providing staff for onsite clinics at their Princeton and Lawrenceville locations. A nurse practitioner and medical assistant/licensed practical nurse are employed by Good Samaritan to provide health care services to employees Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The onsite clinic at both locations will improve access and convenience for employees, improve productivity, improve health outcomes, and promote wellness and the importance of preventative care. “We are excited to be open in both locations at Toyota Boshoku Indiana, LLC and Toyota Boshoku Illinois, LLC,” stated Mickey Pagan, Director of Integrated Health. “The Princeton clinic opened at the beginning of the year and the Lawrenceville location just had its open house on April 24, so we are open for business.” By providing health care services in their employer-based clinics, Toyota Boshoku employees can avoid having to take a day off of work for a visit to a health care provider for either an acute illness or scheduled visit. Offering care through an on-site clinic allows an employee to visit the health office and, depending on their diagnosis, return to work the same day.

Each clinic provides various industrial/occupational services such as: return to work screenings, self care education, injury prevention/ergonomic assessments, durable medical equipment (DME) supplies, first aid and post-injury drug testing. Basic primary care is also available featuring: low-acuity illness treatment, minor disease management, health education, on-site generic medications and more. Flu clinics and biometric testing services are also offered to Toyota Boshoku group employees.

“We feel very privileged to have the opportunity for Good Samaritan to work with a large employer and provide world class health care to their employees,” said Adam Thacker, Chief Operating Officer of Good Samaritan Physician Network. “The collaboration between the hospital and Toyota Boshoku America Inc. allows us to start our journey in delivering integrated health care services to employers and their employees, and we hope to form more partnerships in the future.”
