Kenneth Ray Lindsey,

Kenneth Ray Lindsey, passed away on December 13, 2016.

 

Kenneth was born on December 19, 1955 in Vincennes the son of Ernest William and Ruby Lee (Aust) Lindsey. He married Joyce Sievers on October 5, 2013.

Kenny was a self- employed plumbing contractor and a member of Indiana Presbyterian Church, where he was a former Trustee. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Knox County Shrine; and enjoyed muscle cars, drag cars, and his 1970 Challenger. Kenny loved being with his family, grandchildren and his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lindsey of Vincennes; son, Steven Burke Lindsey and his wife Abby Rose of Vincennes; step-son’s, Aaron Doades and his wife Carmen of Columbus, IN; Brandt Doades of Vincennes; step-daughter, Audra Garnett and her husband Jarrett of Evansville; brother’s, Jerry Lindsey and his wife Judy of Vincennes, Bill Lindsey and his wife Brenda of Hernando, Florida, Darwin Lindsey and his wife Perry of Vincennes; sister, Linda Hess and her husband Myron of Vincennes; grandchildren, Hunter Daniel Lindsey, Antonio Keith Doades, Lucilla Graciela Doades and Mirabelle Jolynn Garnett. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and his son Daniel Blake Lindsey.

Funeral services for Kenny will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Indiana Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Larry Langer officiating. Burial will follow in Indiana Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may visit with Kenny’s family from 4-8 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway.
