KNOX COUNTY

-A Lawrenceville, Illinois couple were jailed in Vincennes over the weekend on meth charges.  Vincennes Police were serving warrants at 3rd and Broadway and 2nd and Vigo at 5:45 on Saturday.  31-year-old Jefferey Campbell was picked up on Lawrence County warrants for manufacturing and possessing meth and possession of anhydrous ammonia.  During the arrest he was found to be in possession of meth and a synthetic drug.  Also arrested was 43-year-old Christina Campbell of Lawrenceivlle charged with possession of meth and a synthetic drug and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.  VU Police assisted VPD in the arrests.

-A warrant was served at 11:45am on Saturday at 29 West Swartzel in Vincennes. Stephenie Groves, 37 was wanted for a Level 3 Felony count of robbery.

-Bicknell Police arrested 53-year-old Billy Vanlue over the weekend on several charges including operating while never licensed and battery by bodily waste.

-34-year-old Earl Allen Potter was arrested by Bicknell Police on Sunday for battery.

-Vincennes Police arrested 37-year-old Lacy Groves Sunday for possession of a syringe, resisting law enforcement and operating while intoxicated and criminal mischief.

-18-year-old Tyler Burke was jailed on Sunday morning for resisting law enforcement. The arrest was made by State Police.

DAVIESS COUNTY

-At 9:50-pm last night, 40-year-old Chris Grannan of Washington was booked into the Daviess County Security Center for possession of marijuana, a schedule 2 and schedule 4 controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2000. Bond was posted.

-Todd A. Trinkle of Washington was arrested Sunday for driving while suspended with a prior.  He was booked in at 2:32 am Sunday morning. Bond was posted.

-At 6:33 on Saturday evening, Washington police received  call from a woman who said a man identified as Christopher Turner ran up to her vehicle window and broke it out and then ran away.  He was seen running on Southwest 6th and was captured a short time later by police on Southwest 7th.   The 30-year-old Turner of Hazelton was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

-An Otwell woman was picked up by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear.  33-yeawr-old Tara A. Fullington bonded out of the security center.

-A vehicle accident resulted in an arrest Friday night. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports Travis Williams, 23 of Washington was driving south on Daviess County Road 450-South near Horrall Road at 11-pm Friday night.  The 2011 Dodge Ram went off of the road and hit a tree.  Upon investigation is was discovered that Williams allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .126.  He was jailed for operating while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated with a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2000 and bond was posted.
