The Vincennes Sun Commercial www.vincennessuncommercial.com says that the work on the new Hampton Inn on the east side of Vincennes is progressing quickly.
The Vincennes Board of Zoning Appeals back in may approved a request for a hotel permit for the new 9.2 million dollar, 79 room hotel at Ford Road and Dixie Orchard Drive right behind the new Yochum Auto Dealership.
Ground was broken in September and Chief Operating Officer of Hotel Development Services, Pam Lindley told the Sun Commercial the unseasonable weather has allowed crews to work at top speed. The hotel she says is slated to open next summer. It’ll be three stories high with 44 queen and 35 king rooms with a swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor patio and indoor breakfast area. It will also provide 450 square feet of private meeting space
