Vincennes firefighters responded to a mobile home fire at 328 West Chicago Avenue at 8:22 last night.
Fire Chief Sonny Pinkstaff says the resident occupant, Robert Goodwin was attempting to light a propane heater sparking a flash fire. The fire quickly spread destroying the mobile home. Goodwin was treated at the scene for burns to his hands but declined transport to the hospital. There were no other injuries.
Firefighters were on scene for over an hour.
