Kimberly Kay (Boger) Adkins, 56 of Bicknell

Kimberly Kay (Boger) Adkins, 56, Bicknell, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. 

Kimberly was born July 21, 1960, in Washington, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Blackburn) Boger. She married Randy Adkins on May 12, 1979. She worked at a home daycare, Walmart, and Head Start. She liked singing, doing crafts, going on trips and was a day camp planner. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was also the former Relief Society President, and she taught several different classes in the church. Kimberly was best known for her involvement in Girl Scouts. She was passionate about her girls and her Girl Scout Family.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Randy; daughters, Mary (Toby) Heslop of Ogden, UT and Amanda Adkins of Bicknell; son, Randy Keith Adkins of St. George, UT; grandchildren, Katey Brough, Colton Heslop, Aubrey Brough, Gloria Heslop, Lucy Brough, Kyle Heslop, Natalie Brough, Olive Heslop, and Clay Heslop; sister, Denise Anderson of Clearwater, FL; brother, Larry Boger of Cayuga, IN; and numerous exchange students and other family members by choice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Vincennes. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
