New State Troopers join the force

A Vincennes resident is one of the newest members of the Indiana State Police.  30-year-old Jordan Lee is one of five new troopers working out of the Evansville Post which serves Knox County.  Lee is a 2005 graduate of Lincoln.  He as an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from VU and a Bachelor’s Degree is Sociology with a minor is Physiology from Park University in Missouri.  He served 4 years in the Marines and 4 years in the Army National Guard.  He lives in Knox County with his wife and two kids.  He will be primarily patrolling Gibson County.

Meanwhile…the Jasper State Police post welcomed 4 new troopers this week. One of them is Steven Nolan originally from Loogootee.  He graduated from Loogootee High School in 1998, Vincennes University in 2003 with an Associate’s Degree in Business, and Indiana University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.  Trooper Nolan previously served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Martin County Sheriff’s Department and an Officer with the Loogootee Police Department.  Nolan will primarily patrol Dubois County.
