Sharon L. Everett, 57, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away October 26, 2016, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Sharon grew up in Vincennes, and attended Lincoln High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide, and then worked at MSD Pike Schools in Indianapolis. Her last position was as a fashion associate at Meijers in Plainfield, IN. Sharon served in the Indiana National Guard.
Born October 2, 1959, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Don Emmons and Delores (Bodart) Emmons – Ellis. Her parents and a brother, Rick Bodart, preceded her.
Surviving are her children, Rachel Elpers and her husband, Tony, of Dale, IN, and Jared Rall and his wife, Jennifer, of Vincennes; her fiance’, Clark Gaither of Indianapolis, IN; her sisters, Kathy Beamon and her husband, Rick, of Vincennes, Linda Emmons of Bicknell,IN, Debbie Saltzman and her husband, Gary, of Lebanon, TN, and Barbara Stinson and her husband, Mike, of Camby, IN; her grandchildren, Bailey and Hannah Rall, and Daniel, Nathan, and Andrew Elpers ; an aunt, Carol Witshork of Vincennes; an uncle, Joe Bodart of Columbus, IN; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Harold Everett.
Friends may visit with Sharon’s family from 10:00 – 12:00 on Thursday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Her service will begin at 12:00, and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
