Walnut Grove Festival has some unique offerings

The Walnut Grove Festival is this Friday and Saturday.

 

 

 

It’s the third year for the event at Grouseland , the home of President William Henry Harrison. Tickets are 25$ for a special Harrison Style dinenr and cash bar on Friday with live folk music from The Coachmen.  There’ll be some special speakers at Friday’s event.

Saturday, you can see demonstrations of spinning fiber into fabric and attend classes on weaving, rug hooking food preservation and much more.  Pike County’s Timeless Classics Auto Club will have some period vehicles on display and there’ll be food, craft and antique vendors and more.  For more information on the festival call 812-882-2096.
