Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:20, Vincennes City Police and Indiana State Police responded to a 911 call reporting an overdose at 2223 North 2nd Street, Vincennes.
When Master Trooper Jim Dotson arrived he found an unconscious 29-year-old male laying on the living room floor. Dotson received information that the person had taken several Xanax pills and observed a large number of pill bottles on the floor near the unconscious male. Dotson administered a dosage of NARCAN to the male and within a couple of minutes he became conscious. The 29-year-old male was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes where he is currently being treated.
