Vincennes schools get a check from Duke Energy…a drug arrest made last night in Vincennes.

DUKE ENERGY DONATES TO VCSC

The Vincennes Community School Corporation gives big thanks to Duke Energy. Yesterday, Kurt Phegley, with Duke Energy, handed school officials a check worth $5000..  The money is to be used for the anti-bullying campaign throughout the Vincennes School Corporation.  Indiana law now requires that all schools within the state complete various exercises with students to reinforce the anti-bullying campaign. One of the most often used forms of exercises is the convocation.  Duke Energy was so impressed with the convocation speaker that the school system partnered with over a year ago, that they provided the money needed to have the speaker attend the convocation this year. and provide this check to go towards the 2016-2017 school year. Duke energy has been a long supporter of Vincennes Schools.
