The 26th Annual Knox County Chili Cook-off is set for this Saturday in downtown Vincennes. The event is held in conjunction with Vincennes University Family and Alumni Weekend.
It starts at at 9:00am and will feature two competition categories: the private judged and the public taster’s choice category. The entry fee for the competition is $5. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in both categories as follows;
Chili tasting begins at 12:30pm and tasting cups will be for sale at $2.00/each.
Entertainment features V.U.’s Annual Tube Race on the Wabash River and live music by Anna Sage at 12:30pm on Patrick Henry Drive of the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park.
Winners of the chili cook-off competition will be announced at 3:00pm.
