Vincennes University President Chuck Johnson received a one-year contract extension.
Johnson’s new contract came following a positive annual performance evaluation by the VU Board of Trustees at its meeting Wednesday.
It will run through Dec. 31, 2019.
Johnson was appointed VU’s 22nd President last December after serving as Interim President following retirement of Dick Helton.
Johnson has played a significant role in the development of business and industry partnerships. He has also been instrumental in developing collaborative relationships with K-12 schools and career and technical education centers throughout Indiana.
