Arrests for neglect of a dependent, resisting law enforcement and more made over the weekend.
-A Vincennes man is charged with neglect of a dependent. Around 3:20 pm Sunday, Vincennes Police arrested 39-year-old John E. Luttrell III in the 13-Hundred Block of Main Street. Further investigation found that Luttrell was wanted on a Sullivan County Warrant for operating while under the influence and endangering another person.
-A Vincennes man was picked up Sunday afternoon on a Knox County Warrant for theft. Vincennes Police located 35-year-old Richard Ray Collins at 8th and College Avenue and transported him to the Knox County Jail.
-Vincennes Police arrested a Lawrenceville man for resisting law enforcement. 34-year-old Dennis Adams was arrested in the area of Minneapolis and Short Street around 2:25 pm. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.
-At 3:50 am this morning, a man was was arrested after a hit and run accident at 1307 Upper 11th. 50-year-old Edward Gaines of Vincennes was jailed for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and a Crawford County, Illinois warrant for failure to appear.
