Germanfest returns to the Highland Woods in Vincennes tonight (Friday) and Saturday for residents to enjoy a taste of authentic German cuisine and participate in fun activities such as yodeling.

Anne Pratt, Germanfest spokesperson and volunteer, says guests also get to enjoy dancing and live music.

Admission is $5 and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Christian Educational Foundation, who in turn support the Vincennes Catholic schools to help keep tuition affordable for students.

Guests must be 21 to enter, but Pratt says for the first time they will be serving dinner from 6 to 8 PM inside the Highland Woods Community Center for families with underage kids.

The 44th annual Germanfest gets underway both evenings at 6.
