The Good Samaritan Hospital Physicians Network goal is to provide the best quality care to patients and focus on their needs.

The network is comprised of physician and non-physician providers from over 300 employees at the hospital.

Adam Thacker, Chief Operating Officer for GSH Physicians Network, says they continually strive to meet the demands of healthcare to improve the patients’ experience. One of those demands is the challenge of ever changing technology.

Over the past four months, the hospital has implemented a new technology infrastructure with their electronic medical records system known as EPIC. Thacker says it has been a real learning curve for hospital employees.

Thacker says they continuously reach out to the community for feedback and to identify what medical areas they can improve upon. GSH sends out surveys and reads every patient comment. The hospital has already recognized three major focus areas they will work on over the next three years: primary care access, physical inactivity, and health literacy.
