State official investigating the cause of the Sunday morning fire.
A fire occurred Sunday Morning in Bicknell and remains under investigation. Bicknell Firefighters responded to 908 West 4th Street around 11:30 am Sunday. Bicknell Fire Chief Tom Houghland says the fire caused considerable damage to the interior of the home. The house was occupied by Crystal Vickers and her two daughters. The American Red Cross put the family up in a motel in Vincennes. Several social service agencies and individuals in the North Knox Area are assisting the family with clothing and other necessities. Houghland says an investigator from the state fire marshall;s office has been called in to help determine the cause of the fire.
