Lois Cornelia (Robinson) Clausman

Lois Cornelia (Robinson) Clausman, of Vincennes, 86, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Lois was born September 20, 1929 to Harry “Red” and Bessie (Parker) Robinson.  She married Joseph R. Clausman Sr. on June 26, 1950, and he proceeded her in death on March 8, 1993.  Lois graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1947.  She was a teacher at St. John’s Catholic School from 1962 to 1963 and at Sacred Heart Catholic School from 1963 to 1973.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Gimball Bond from 1973 to retirement.  Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was blessed to live at the same home for 43 home surrounded by loving neighbors.  Lois was an avid bridge player and enjoyed making cards for all occasions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Deborah A. Clausman.
She is survived in death by her daughter, Shelly M. Latshaw (Alan) of Downers Grove, Illinois, and sons, Joseph R. Clausman Jr. (Angela) of Cicero, Indiana and Thomas “Ish” Clausman (Hope) of Vincennes, Indiana; grandchildren, Christy Clausman, Casey Dick (Kevin), Jeff Latshaw (Carolyn), Kate Latshaw, Mackenzie Jones (Luke), and Sarah Latshaw; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy Clausman, Tyson Dyer, and Camille Dick.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Goodwin Family Funeral Home, 524 Broadway Street.  A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Goodwin Family Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Animal Shelter.
