The Town of Freelandville turns 150 years old this year and they invite everyone to their celebration to be held next month.
Organizers of the historic recognition say there are several sesquicentennial events planned, which will culminate with a grand community celebration on August 26th, 27th and 28th . There will be a softball tournament, crafts, parade, homemade meals, live music, a special Founder’s ceremony celebrating the small town’s rich history and numerous events that are very kid friendly.
The highlight of our Sesquicentennial will be the evening of Saturday, August 28th. The night kicks off with a fish fry following with a mix of local area bands on our main stage that will play until our Grand Fireworks show that will begin at dark.
