Police appreciate your support..and a Gibson County Deputy was shown some by a mother and daughter over the weekend.
Deputy Michael McGregor was traveling in Princeton, Indiana on State Road 64 when he noticed a white vehicle following him. Upon pulling in the parking lot of a local fast food restaurant Deputy McGregor noticed a mother and daughter exit their vehicle and approach him as he sat in the drive thru. The mother identified herself as Karen Newhouse and introduced her daughter to Deputy McGregor and wanted to inform Deputy McGregor that they support law enforcement. Before leaving they produced a basket full of goodies and posed for pictures. Deputy McGregor promptly took the goodies back to the station and shared them with the rest of the department.
