Paul Campbell, 84, passed away at 7:20 pm on July 12, 2016 at Hillside Manor Nursing Home in Washington.
Paul was born on April 29, 1932 in Plainfield, IN the son of Everrett and Mary (Magline) Campbell. He married Brenda Potter and she preceded him in death.
Paul worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service and attended the United Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and his dogs. He never went anywhere without wearing his cowboy hat and liked John Wayne.
Survivors include his children, Susan Banks of Lawrenceville, David Harvey of Evansville, Anita Harvey of Winslow, Paul Campbell, Jr. of Lawrenceville, Joseph Campbell of Lawrenceville, Jeff Campbell of Lawrenceville, Rick Campbell of Lawrenceville, Mike Campbell of Utah, Christina Campbell of Birds, IL, Staci Cozart of Sumner, Lori Mieure of Robinson, Tom Campbell of Olney, Brian Collins of Vincennes, Doug Bline of Kentucky; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow Street, Vincennes. Friends may visit with Paul’s family from Noon until 1:00 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. On line condolences may be sent at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com.
