Peggy L. Fuller, 83, of Vincennes

Peggy L. Fuller, 83, of Vincennes, peacefully went to heaven, surrounded by her loved ones, on July 11, 2016. 

She was born July 18, 1932, in Owensville, IN, the daughter of Russell and Ida (Withers) Smith.

On July 7, 1957, she married Amos E. Fuller, and he passed away Feb. 25, 2011. They were married for 53 years. Also preceding her were her brothers, Robert and Jerry Smith.

Peggy was a homemaker, and loved being a grandma to Amy, Ashley, and Amanda. They were her pride and joy. An avid cook, she enjoyed cooking for her family. Collecting birdhouses and sunflowers were favorite hobbies. Peggy was a member of the VFW Auxillary. She was a fan of the Indiana Hoosiers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Surviving is her son, Jim Fuller and his wife, Vicki, of Lawrenceville, IL; her daughter, Jill Johnson-Blue and her husband, Stacy, of Vincennes; granddaughters, Amy Johnson of Austin, TX, Ashley Preusz and her husband, Stephen, of Austin, TX, Amanda Fuller, and her fiance’, Skyler Meadows of Muncie, IN; step-grandchildren, Justin Wolford of Indianapolis, IN, Seth Blue of Vincennes, and Jared Blue of Vincennes; a sister, Juanita Meadows of Owensville, IN; and several nieces and nephews. 

Peggy was a loving mom and grandma and will be missed by many.

She was excited for her granddaughter Amanda’s upcoming wedding in September, and was looking forward to meeting her great-granddaughter, Dylan Marie Pruesz, who is due to arrive on Aug. 2, 2016.

A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Steven DeFields-Gambrel at 11:00 Saturday, at the Tower Mausoleum II in Memorial Park Cemetery.
