South Knox School Superintendent, Tom Grove told the Vincennes Sun Commercial, he’s not expecting a large crowd for tonight’s public hearing on the project known as SPARTA 2018.

Grove told reporters he’s heard very little from the South Knox Community since holding an informational meeting last month.

The school board is likely to vote to move forward with the major renovation project at their meeting tonight starting at 7-pm.

SPARTA 2018 involves over 15 million dollars in renovations to South Knox Middle High School and the elementary.

The Sun Commercial reports, the meeting will follow a similar format to the public meeting last month. Schmidt Associates, an Indianapolis engineering firm,  will outline their plans while financial consultants with Umbaugh and Associates, also of Indianapolis, will explain the financial side of the project.
