Nellie Potter, 83, passed away at her home on July 3, 2016.

Nellie had worked several different jobs, often two at the same time. Those included working at Pomeroy’s, as a waitress in area restaurants, and as a cashier in grocery stores. She was always doing what she could to take care of her family.

Born May 16, 1933, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Paul Sandefer and Amy (Stott) Sandefer – Mize.  Her parents; her husband, Earl Potter, and her brothers and sisters preceded her.

Surviving are her children, Brenda “Bink” Crouch and her companion, Thomas Coomes, of Vincennes, Danny Moore and his wife, Sharon, of Vincennes, Tim Moore and his wife, Lesa, of Vincennes, Amy Twitty and her husband, Jay, of Vincennes, Teresa Deisher and husband, Randy, of Vincennes, and Lisa Crouse of Fritchton, IN; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with Nellie’s family from 12:00 – 2:00 on Thursday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2:00 at the funeral home, and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
