State police say a Daviess County, Indiana man is dead following a two-car crash in central New York.
Troopers say 42-year- old Lisa Price was trying to turn left into a State Forest Trail access parking area on state Route 15A in the Livingston County town of Springwater Sunday morning. Police say Price entered the path of an oncoming car and the vehicles collided. Price’s 67-year- old passenger, Carl “Lewie” Edwards, of Elnora, Indiana died at the scene. Her 59-year- old passenger, Deborah Edwards, was flown to a hospital. Price was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance. The condition of the other driver, 51-year old Paul Russell of Springwater remains unknown.
Springwater, NY is 35 miles south of Rochester.
