Steven Snyder, 63, passed away at 1:57 am on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Steven was born on August 1, 1952 in Vincennes the son of Carlos Burton and Delores A. (Hitt) Snyder.
Steve was a forklift operator for E. Bierhaus and Son’s and a member of Reel Avenue Christian Church. He was a graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School where he played on the high school football team. He enjoyed music, and he loved tennis, basketball and all sports in general.
Survivors include his mother and step father, Dee and Robert Mayberry of Hoopeston, IL; sisters, Cindy Young and her husband Herb of Cincinnati, OH, Carla Snyder of San Jose, CA; brother, Stanley Snyder and his wife Becky of Lake Forest, CA; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and all of his special friends at the nursing home.
Funeral services for Steve will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Friends may visit with Steve’s family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral Home.
